Executive Ministries have a connection to the community at large, the parish community, the Directors of the various ministries at the parish, the people who serve on Parish Councils, and those who exercise leadership roles on behalf of the parish. Specifically: Communications, Ecumenical and Interreligious, Extension, and the Pastoral Council. Communications: This ministry oversees the coordination of vehicles of commu­nication which serve to inform people about the life and activity of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish. The various vehicles of communication include the parish's Sunday Bulletin, the parish's web site, the Parish Ministry Booklet, Sunday bulletins of neighboring parishes and nearby Christian churches, the Archdiocesan newspaper and local newspapers.

Ecumenical and Interreligious Ministries: This ministry oversees efforts which serve to establish and nurture relationships of mutual respect and collaboration with members of other faith communities which are situated near St. Mary of the Assumption Parish. This ministry serves to foster relationships with non-Catholic Christian denominations as well as non-Christian religions and congregations.

Extension Ministries: This ministry oversees the development of relationships and collaborative efforts between the parish community of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish and parishes, either within the United States or overseas, which strive to bring the Good News of God's love to others despite the fact that the parishes are situated in the midst of impoverished conditions. Great efforts are exercised re­garding the concept of relationship-building between staff/members of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish and staff/members of the other parishes which are some­times referred to as "Sister Parishes."

Parish Pastoral and Finance Councils: This ministry helps to oversee all of the efforts which are exercised on behalf of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish by members of the Parish Pastoral Council and Parish Finance Council. In addition, this ministry provides formational and educational training so as to help deepen the Councils' members' understanding of the vital role that they exercise in helping to provide a vision-oriented and financially sound framework in which the parish's mission and activity can be given expression.
